Overview


The Snap-on Diagnostics Marketing team is looking for an Automotive Marketing Intern with automotive experience for the summer. This position is in-person and on-site at the Snap-on Diagnostics Facility in Lincolnshire, IL. During the course of this assignment we are looking for someone with automotive experience that has some knowledge of Diagnostic tools and that could complete a project to support and enhance our influencer marketing program and our current customer advertising campaign. The Marketing intern will help support the Marketing team with researching this area and providing project recommendations that the team can move forward with. Alongside this they will assist with tradeshow event preparation, website maintenance, social media assets, proofreading, data entry, and general office administration.


Education & Work Experience: • Must be currently in college (sophomore and above preferred) • Interest in Events, PR/Communications, Digital Marketing • Excellent computer skills • Microsoft Office specifically experience with excel • Social media knowledge and understanding • Strong oral and written communication skills Preferred Experience: • Excel • Social media Individual Competencies: • Attention to Detail • Self-motivation • Organization • Communications Work Environment: • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods. • Ability to perform multiple tasks with numerous interruptions.


An understanding of automotive systems will be required for this position.
