Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly

Description:


Provide licensed, independent clinical psychology services within a secure healthcare environment. Serve as the subject-matter expert for mental health and substance use disorders, conducting assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning to support patient well-being.



Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic testing.


• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health and substance use disorders.


• Deliver individual and group psychotherapy using diverse therapeutic modalities.


• Provide substance abuse education and behavioral analysis.


• Design, manage, and evaluate modified therapeutic community treatment programs.


• Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.


• Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.


• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health record systems.


• Create and deliver clinical education and training materials for staff.


• Coordinate referrals to external treatment facilities and community resources.


• Participate in rotational on-call coverage for emergency response.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.


• Full, unrestricted state license for independent practice as a psychologist.


• At least one year of post-doctoral clinical practice at the licensed independent level.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.


• Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).


• Strong oral and written communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.


• Cultural competence and ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in detention, correctional, or residential healthcare settings.


• Experience implementing a modified therapeutic community treatment model.


• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.


• Additional state licensure for tele-behavioral health services.

Work Environment & Security

• Fully on-site position in a secure healthcare facility.


• Rotational on-call coverage required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Must satisfy facility-specific security clearance requirements.
