Serve as the subject-matter expert in mental health and substance use disorders within a secure healthcare setting. You will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with serious mental illness or co-occurring disorders, develop and manage treatment plans, and provide both individual and group psychotherapy using diverse therapeutic modalities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide on-site individual and group therapy, substance abuse education, and behavioral analysis
Implement programming within a Modified Therapeutic Treatment Community model
Coordinate referrals to acute/inpatient care as clinically indicated
Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (medical, security, contract staff)
Deliver tele-behavioral health services in accordance with facility policy
Develop and deliver clinical training and educational materials for staff
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and generate weekly status reports
Serve as suicide prevention coordinator when assigned and respond to behavioral health emergencies
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program
Active, unrestricted LCSW license in the state of Arizona
Minimum 1year post-licensure clinical social work experience at the independent level
BLS for Healthcare Providers® certification
Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
Knowledge of HIPAA/Privacy Act and PII confidentiality standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing or managing a Modified Therapeutic Community treatment model
Prior work in a detention, correctional, or residential healthcare setting
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) or demonstrated cultural competence in diverse environments
