Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
Record and reconcile daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Reconcile bank statements and assist in account analysis
Assist with audit preparation and respond to internal and external requests
Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
Internship or up to 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferred but not required)
Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
Effective communication and time management abilities
Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting field
