We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for accounting to grow within an organization that values integrity and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
Prepare financial reports and assist in budget monitoring
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
1-3 years of relevant accounting experience (internships count!)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems
Working toward CPA or plans to pursue certification
