This role partners with various teams to provide financial analysis and mentorship to work towards our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a business partnership with the operations team, specifically the Mebane team, to drive accountability of key performance indicators.
Support business continuity for accounts payables and receivables.
Assist the Finance Operations Manager in forecasting monthly overhead spend for the Mebane site.
Contribute to developing capital project arguments for site operations.
Provide audit support for year-end and quarterly internal/external audits.
Analyze, interpret, and communicate the actual performance of the Rochester/Mebane site versus budgets and forecasts.
Apply ERP and Hyperion systems for daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting. Recommend improvements to current reporting tools.
Perform monthly closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, reporting, and analysis.
Ensure compliance with Corporate Accounting Policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Keys to Success:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required
Entry-level position; no experience required.
Experience:
Knowledge of financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Shown success in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience in audit support and compliance with accounting policies preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Self-starter with innovative thinking.
Excellent communication and social skills.
Strong analytical abilities with a focus on key financial performance drivers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
High energy and confidence in encouraging a continuous improvement culture.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $23.26-$34.89.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
