Job Summary: Assists production and product engineers with production process documentation, work instructions, failure analysis, production support and workstation setup.
This is a full-time summer position with the potential to transition to part-time in the fall.
Core Responsibilities
Provides assistance to engineers in various tasks including designed experiments, failure analysis, design for manufacturability (DFM) reports, process procedures, process improvements, work instructions, and setup.
Provides production support to resolve defects and improve processes
Reviews document packages and assists in product quotes
Requirements:
Education
Sophomore level or higher in Engineering program (required)
1 – 3 years related work experience (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Basic level computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD
Good verbal and written communication
Work independently and in a team environment
Troubleshoot defects in a production environment
Moderate level of attention to detail
