Job Summary: Assists production and product engineers with production process documentation, work instructions, failure analysis, production support and workstation setup.

This is a full-time summer position with the potential to transition to part-time in the fall.

Core Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to engineers in various tasks including designed experiments, failure analysis, design for manufacturability (DFM) reports, process procedures, process improvements, work instructions, and setup.
• Provides production support to resolve defects and improve processes
• Reviews document packages and assists in product quotes

Requirements:

Education

• Sophomore level or higher in Engineering program (required)
• 1 – 3 years related work experience (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Basic level computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD
• Good verbal and written communication
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Troubleshoot defects in a production environment
• Moderate level of attention to detail
