Position Description:

As a Junior Analyst you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team in key areas across the business. The primary responsibilities include analyzing and interpreting industry specific data, improving performance with a data driven approach, and collaborating with various departments to optimize systems and strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Functions:

  • Developing a strong understanding of product types and state specifications across the Northeast.
  • Working closely with the operations team to understand key components of operational and project impacts.
  • Supporting the operations manager by monitoring and tracking project costs and day-to-day operational costs.
  • Analyzing data related to equipment procurement.
  • Attending essential company meetings to develop an understanding of all products and services.
  • Candidate will be required to complete a training period of several months, designed to participate and observe daily functions within the liquid asphalt lab & terminals, and emulsion plants to better understand company operations.
  • Conducting business analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Participating in project-based analysis to support the management team.
  • Up to 20% travel will be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized and comfortable working independently and in a group setting.
  • Analytical focus to be able to identify trends, variances, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within the Northeast to assist on-site managers at various locations.
  • Experience with communicating with third-party contractors and vendors.
  • Will be required to pass a physical and drug screen.


Work Conditions

Office setting with controlled temperature and minimal noise. Incumbent must be able to sit for extended periods of time and tolerate working at a computer for most of their work duties.
