The Clinical Study Unit (CSU) is the site facing arm of clinical operations that is responsible for monitoring and enrolling patients into our clinical studies here at Sanofi. The individual CSUs are organized into countries or clusters and generally include a Country/Cluster Head (CH), Medical Advisors (MDA), Team Leaders (TLs), Local Study Managers (LSM), Site Partnership Managers (SPM) and Monitoring Team.

Main Responsibilities:
The USCSU Team Leader (TL) will have direct line management responsibility for assigned roles determined by the CSU Head (e.g., Team Leaders (TLs), Local Study Mangers (LSMs), Site Partnership Managers (SPMs), and for ensuring the performance, training, coaching, mentoring, motivation, and development of individuals under their management.
This position will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of study commitments/goals in addition to the strategic alignment of the therapeutic area in their perimeter.
The TL ensures that appropriate staffing is assigned and that projects are managed to appropriate quality within the scope of responsibility. The CSU Team Leader drives identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks in support of business KPIs.
As a key member of USCSU leadership team, the TL will drive process optimization, coordinate transversal activities and define strategy to implement clinical studies in USA, work with internal (CSO leaders; Medical, Public Affairs, Patient Informed Development and Global Project Teams) and external stakeholders to develop business and study strategy, represent Sanofi in Pharma associations/ medical conferences in the country and foster digital innovation in CSU.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent relationship management skills as well as a high level of proficiency in complex trial management.
A history of building strategic plans, digital literacy and excellent presentation skills would position you for success. In terms of education, an advanced degree is desired but an undergraduate degree plus equivalent work experience would also meet this requirement.
We need you to be fluent in English. Previous experience in leading teams is desired.
A hybrid work schedule of 3 days on site and 2 days remote will be expected.
