This role requires a highly experienced and strategic Senior Total Rewards Director to lead national and international compensation and benefits programs with supporting payroll. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive total rewards strategies that align with our business objectives, ONE Tallgrass Philosophy and value which support our fast-paced growth, talent acquisition, and retention goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both national and international compensation, benefits, and payroll with a strong understanding of market trends and compliance requirements.Minimum requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of ten (10) years direct work experience in a similar type of role or Senior Manager role, which may be considered as a substitute for a degree.
Experience/Specific Knowledge:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in total rewards, with a focus on compensation, benefits primarily and payroll secondary.
Proven experience in designing and managing all employee and executive compensation programs.
Strong knowledge of global compensation, benefits and payroll practices, regulations, and trends.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Above the minimum requirements, not required but advantageous in this position:
Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP, GRP) is preferred.
Previous experience using ADP Workforce Now and HCM Oracle Fusion is desired.
Payroll experience a plus.
Oil, gas and clean energy experience a plus.
Compensation:
Salary range for this position will be $180,000-$220,000/yr.
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
Develop and implement global total rewards strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Lead the design, implementation, and administration of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
Compensation Management:
Oversee employee compensation to ensure competitive and equitable salary structures.
Design and maintain executive compensation programs, including base salary, incentives, and equity plans.
Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive compensation programs.
Lead annual salary review processes, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments.
Benefits Management:
Oversee the design and strategy of our employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Partner with team and benefits providers for cost-effective coverage and future strategy.
Payroll Management:
Support the team with payroll and tax processes both nationally and internationally.
Performance and Recognition Programs:
Partner with HR Ops and Total Rewards team with performance management systems to drive engagement and productivity for overall total rewards.
Support teams with recognition programs to reward and motivate employees.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Use data analytics to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs.
Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on total rewards initiatives.
Compliance and Governance:
Support team to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for total rewards programs.
Lead and support the policies and procedures related to compensation, benefits and payroll.
Employee Communication and Education:
Develop strategies to inform employees about total rewards programs.
Support team to provide education and training on compensation, benefits and payroll topics.
Vendor Management:
Manage and support team relationships with external vendors and consultants.
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts for best value and overall service.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the total rewards budget.
Monitor and control expenses related to compensation and benefits programs.
Prepare regular management reports.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor a team of total rewards professionals.
Provide guidance to HR and management teams on total rewards matters.
Promote a positive, team-oriented, and collaborative work environment.
Other: Perform other duties as assigned.
