Why This Role Is Important
Reporting to the Radiology Manager, modality lead technologists are responsible for providing leadership in the specific sections of the Radiology Department while operating within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
What You'll Work On
The Lead CT Technologist at Salem, NH will be primarily accountable for:
-Direct and indirect oversight of imaging modality; including but not limited to:
-Support with hiring, training and staff schedules/assignments
-Required equipment and staffing regulatory tracking activities and center licensure
-Patient and staff safety
-Professional development of modality technologists
-Quality of care
-Patient experience
-Equipment management and service
-Serving as a point of escalation for modality technologists
-Developing a team for the modality, focusing on quality of care, continuous improvement and safe staffing levels
-Serving as point person for other departments looking to contact modality
-Supporting on-site students within modality when applicable
-Stepping into direct patient clinical care schedule when necessary
