A role you will love
The Implementation Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our Global IT infrastructure for new or existing office locations throughout the Computershare portfolio. This includes setting up new offices or refurbishing, offices decommissioning existing spaces, End User tech equipment, and managing conference room technologies to ensure optimal performance and a good user experience.
Other Responsibilities include:
Office Setup & IT Infrastructure Deployment
• Assist in the develop and execute comprehensive plans and actions for IT infrastructure in new and or upgrading office locations.
• Partner with internal and external teams providing good customer service, communications and addressing risks and issues in a timely manner
• Work closely with real estate, facilities, and construction teams to align IT infrastructure with office design and layout.
• Collaborate with vendors to procure, install, and configure necessary IT equipment.
• Ability to recommend server racks and IT equipment in server rooms per office location, support from IT Teams
• Ensure robust and secure networking solutions, including structured cabling and wireless networks are implemented.
• Oversee the deployment of networking (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi), VoIP systems, cloud services, and security solutions in new and upgraded office spaces.
• Based on request of Management conduct site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to technical standards on an as needed basis determined by employee and employer.
• Assist with estimated budget and actual budget preparations.
• Guide local Staff and Vendors to execute set-ups in offices in CPU global locations
• Adhere to a CPU global IT standards and may be asked to participate in defining those standards.
Office Decommissioning & Relocation
• Create and implement plans for decommissioning or relocating office spaces with minimal disruption.
• Oversee IT asset management, ensuring secure data migration and equipment retrieval.
• Work with and manage disposal vendors ensuring they deliver based on specifications provided by the IT Facilities Manager
Conference Room & AV Management
• Assist in the design, install, and maintain conference room technology, including video conferencing and AV equipment working in conjunction with POD leaders
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to meeting room setups.
• Work with Vendors on the implementation
IT Asset & Vendor Management
• Manage IT inventory, procurement, and tracking of hardware assets if required.
• Work with vendors and may require contract review for IT equipment and services.
Security & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards).
What will you bring to the role?
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, office setup, or facilities IT operations.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Flexibility with time due to the global nature of this project.
• A strong leader that can manage multiple tasks.
• Strong technical skills in networking, IT asset management, IT peripherals and video conferencing solutions.
• Excellent commitment to dates, project management, problem-solving, Team player and vendor negotiation skills.
• Advanced communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and/or written communications and can communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong technical skills in order to work collaboratively within their team on the design, build and deployment of the implementation.
• Advanced knowledge of office structures, LAN,WAN, Cloud, server room topology and security solutions in new upgraded offices and an appreciation of business impacts in order to support and mitigate the risk of change to critical high-availability systems.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional)

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $140,000 - $190,000 per year. This base pay range is specific to these locations (Canton, MA and Jersey City, NJ) and may not be applicable to other locations.
