Job Description: Regional Law Firm seeks a full-time Medical Malpractice Paralegal for its Boston, Massachusetts office in the following practice areas:

• Hospital and Medical Malpractice


• Nursing Home/Long-Term Care Facilities

Responsibilities:

• Organizing case documents and files.


• Preparing pleadings and forms.


• Managing discovery, including subpoenas and authorizations to obtain records.


• Completing deposition summaries.


• Reviewing medical and employment records.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 - 4 years of prior Medical Malpractice litigation experience.


• Excellent academic record.


• Strong research and writing skills.


• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.


• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


• Proficiency in PDF software, particularly Nuance Power PDF.


• Ability to add Bates-stamping, combine files, separate files, and edit PDFs.

Soft Skills/Must Haves: Ability to multitask. Strong Microsoft Office experience. Detail-oriented. Well organized.
