JOB SUMMARY The Senior Director of Center of Excellence (CoE) will lead and oversee the strategic direction and operational excellence of the CoE. This role is responsible for driving innovation, ensuring best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all functional teams within the CoE. This senior leader will work closely with the executive team to align CoE initiatives with the overall business objectives and deliver value to our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Strategy: Provide visionary leadership to the CoE, setting strategic goals and objectives that align with the company's mission and vision. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the CoE's capabilities and drive business growth.
Operational Excellence: Ensure the CoE operates efficiently and effectively, delivering high-quality services and solutions. Implement best practices, process improvements, and performance metrics to achieve operational excellence.
Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the CoE. Encourage the adoption of new technologies, methodologies, and approaches to enhance the CoE's offerings.
Collaboration and Communication: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, functional teams, and external partners. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the CoE and the broader organization.
Talent Development: Attract, develop, and retain top talent within the CoE. Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members to ensure their growth and success.
Customer Focus: Ensure the CoE delivers exceptional value to customers by understanding their needs and expectations. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
Capability and Capacity: Develop and extend execution options across multiple global sites by assessing, nurturing and leveraging internal burst capacity across other functional teams within Jabil.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Lead transformation necessary to best create value & unlock opportunities in changing customer landscape, while continue to deliver trust & confidence via E2E execution excellence. Demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation projects. Track record in senior technical management.
Extend team virtual execution reach, collaboration & capacity by assessing, nurturing and leveraging internal burst capacity across other functional teams within Jabil, and external burst capacity across strategic partners, that enabling delivery of global design services that unlock opportunities
Enable holistic E2E testing strategy, validation, reliability, qualification & certification services to vertical system teams & end customers, including driving E2E test automation, optimization, coverage & leverage testing efforts across all global teams, communicated with a single pane-of-glass
Drive efficiencies across all CoE functional teams including leading deployment of industry best practices, best known methods, predecessor lessons learned, leveraging of errata from components, merchant silicon, I/O as well as deploying AI methods across all CoE functional team. Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to technical management
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Engineering, BSEE/MSEE, BSCE/MSCE, BSCS/MSCS, BSME/MSME
12+ years of engineering experience
8+ years of engineering management
Or an equivalent combination of education, experience and / or training
Willingness to travel world-wide up to 35% of the time.
