Job Summary:As a Lumberyard Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to receiving, storing, and distributing lumber and building materials in our warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and excellent teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload building materials, including lumber, drywall, insulation, and hardware.

Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage of materials.

Assist with pulling, sorting, and preparing orders for delivery or customer pickup.

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner.

Perform routine inventory checks and report any discrepancies.

Keep the yard and warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Work collaboratively with the warehouse team and other departments to fulfill customer orders efficiently.

Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous warehouse or lumberyard experience preferred but not required.

Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more) and perform physical labor.

Familiarity with power tools, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment is a plus.

A commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean work environment.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
