The Lab Technician is responsible for analytical testing on critical parts using ICP-MS and LPC, collaborate with a team to meet customer delivery schedules, work in a cleanroom environment for specialty processes, and support design-of-experiments and customer process development. Additionally, in this role you will handle chemicals safely, maintain production records, generate lab testing reports, and take measurements for critical dimensions.

Key Responsibilities:
Performs analytical testing on critical parts, using ICP-MS and LPC
Works within a team to achieve customer driven delivery schedules
Works in a cleanroom environment for specialty processes
Supports design-of-experiments and customer process development
Handles chemicals, solutions, and chemical waste in a safe and appropriate manners
Follows production processes in a consistent and exacting manner
Generates lab testing reports for customers
Maintains production records on all parts processed through each station
Takes measurements for critical dimensions
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Certificate or associate degree in chemical technology or a related field like chemical process engineering
Prefer laboratory experience or equivalent experience working with chemicals
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, handle delicate parts and equipment, and work with hazardous materials
Comfortable using computers for various workflows
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hr
This job equally operates in a production and professional office environment. The environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts or equipment. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds. Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive and collaborative communication and may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends and possibly holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak, hear, and smell. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear as well as interact with other employees. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the incumbent must be able to sit/stand and use a computer for extended periods of time.
