Salary: $29.00 USD Hourly - $31.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Cath Lab Technician in Morristown, NJ!


Cath Lab and EP Lab would only be looking at CVT and invasive techs who scrub interventional cardiology cases in cath labs and/or EP labs. They are licensed Radiology Technologists and/or Certified RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists). They do procedures such as PCI, Diagnostic Heart Caths, Ablations, Pacemakers.



Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

• Experience scrubbing interventional cardiology Cath lab cases.


• MMC Cath Lab and EP are looking for an RCIS certified OR a licensed RT who has experience scrubbing Interventional Cardiology procedures such as STEMI, PCI, Diagnostic Cardiac Caths.


• Days per week: 3


• Shift: 8a-8:30pm


• On call or weekends required. Yes 1 weeknight/week (730pm -7am) and 1 weekend per month of on call only required


• Float No


• Call Back: On Call pay with call requirement

Duties:

• Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI(STEMI ) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.


• Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data


• Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure


• Assess and manage access site, and inform physician


• Adhere to On call protocol for Cath lab


• Prepare patient for procedures

Skills:

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist


• RCIS certification preferred


• BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required


• Cardiac Cath lab experience

Preferred Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Hourly Pay $31.00


Weekly Total $1,116.00


Housing Stipend $1,001.00


Meals and Incidentals $560.00


OT Rate $46.50
