Job Description:

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is seeking a talented Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) professional for the role of a SAFe Team Coach /Scrum Master who will assists Agile teams in meeting their delivery goals. The candidate will coach, mentor and support Agile teams, Product Owners, RTEs and Stakeholders on Agile practices, adoption, implementation, principles and values. The coach will support project teams to identify and address challenges hindering proper Agile adoption, implementation and maturity.


This position will be remotely based in the US.



Key Responsibilities:



- Promote and support Agile transformation in the organization by introducing SAFe principles and practices and ensuring that teams apply them successfully.
- Advise agile teams on the continuous improvement of their working methods, promote self-organization and support them in solving challenges.
- Develop and deliver training and workshops on SAFe principles, roles and practices to promote understanding and application within the organization.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and work with teams to solve problems and implement better ways of working.
- Coordinate collaboration between agile teams and other departments to ensure agile practices run smoothly. Encourage open communication and transparency.
- Implement metrics to track the progress of the agile transformation and create regular reports for management.
- Increase effectiveness within the Agile Team in the organization.
- Eliminate the flow of bottlenecks by coaching SAFe Scrum Team.
- Implement Agile and SAFe adoption.
- Promote accuracy of project delivery against requirements without post-go-live defects.
- Delivery of projects on time and within the budget.
- Manage customer satisfaction scores.



Key Requirements:



- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of SAFe implementation experience in training, coaching, facilitating, and mentoring Agile teams of an organization.
- Certification as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or comparable certifications.
- Comprehensive understanding of agile principles and practices.
- Understanding of software development methodologies (waterfall and agile).
- Experience in coaching agile teams and managers.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Business analysis and business process design skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools + Smartsheet.

- Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
- Experience working with all levels of an organization, both technical and non-technical.

Preferred:



- SAFe implementation experience within a non-profit organization.


The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate's qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $104,000 to $122,000.
