What You•ll Do:


  • Drive Business Growth: Develop and implement strategic growth initiatives, lead client capture plans, and identify new market opportunities to expand GBA•s presence.

  • Lead Client Engagement: Cultivate and manage high-value client relationships, oversee complex accounts, and ensure seamless communication between clients and project teams.

  • Develop and Secure Opportunities: Lead Go/No-Go decisions, negotiate contracts, and position GBA for successful project wins through strategic pursuit and proposal development.

  • Strengthen Market Presence: Represent GBA at industry events, build partnerships, and stay ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.

  • Mentor & Develop Teams: Coach junior team members, foster collaboration, and contribute to a high-performance client management culture.

  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee project invoicing, track key performance indicators, maintain CRM data accuracy, and drive business development success.

What We•re Looking For:


  • Education: Bachelor•s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited program.

  • Experience: 8+ years in business development, client management, or related roles within the A/E industry.

  • Strategic Growth: Proven ability to develop and implement strategic growth plans and drive revenue.

  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of the A/E industry, including market drivers, trends, and the competitive landscape.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office, and business development tools.

  • Network & Market Knowledge: Established network of industry contacts in private and public markets, with an understanding of the water sector, project lifecycles, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Project & Client Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

  • Collaboration & Leadership: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on client-centric solutions.

  • Client-Centric Approach: Commitment to delivering high-quality work while fostering long-term client relationships.

  • Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
