Castleton Commodities International is an independent global commodities merchant. CCI is seeking a Cash Management Operations candidate who will be responsible for all aspects of the cash management function and ensuring that the designated cash processing, reconciliation, and reporting are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with CCI practice and policies.
Responsibilities:
Cash management operations to include daily cash administration including but not limited to cash application, payment initiation, and bank account reconciliation.
Monitors and clears cash transactions
Monitor, report, and assist in resolving unclaimed funds.
Receives incoming wire transfers and processes outgoing wire transfers.
Assist with call back verifications.
Work closely with Corporate Accounting and Treasury to ensure that counterparty payments/receipts, intercompany loans, and other treasury-related activities are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
Assists with audit requests and queries received by Cash Management team.
Assist in the formulation and execution of team initiatives and projects to improve efficiency, controls, or execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
1-3 years of prior experience in a Cash Management or Treasury role.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a high intensity environment.
Excellent problem solving and numerical skills; ability to seek information and interpret data from multiple sources in order to resolve problems or implement new processes.
Ability and inclination to think critically, identify problems and propose solutions.
Highest level of ownership and accountability.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent Excel skills, VBA skills preferred.
Ability and desire to work in a team-centered environment.
Prior experience with SAP S4/HANA
