About the Position
We are looking for a Billing Specialist II to join our team at our Administrative Office in Medford, Oregon. The Billing Specialist II will provide and support with clerical and administrative tasks related to billing and other departmental needs, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. They will maintain accurate and up-to-date client records to facilitate efficient claims processing, and ensure all necessary documentation are available for claims submission. They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and be proficient in ICD-10, CPT coding, and prior authorization processes.
The Billing Specialist II will submit and track service authorizations and reauthorizations for clients in residential, crisis, supportive housing and outpatient programs. They will process claims in strict accordance with program requirements, payer guidelines, and organizational policies to ensure successful reimbursement. The Billing Specialist II will proactively monitor, investigate, and resolve any billing discrepancies or claim submission issues, collaborating with clients, payers, and relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Full Time, Day)
What You’ll Make
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE/Credentials.
Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).

Successful applicants must have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
