Customer Service Representative

Location: Coining, Montvale, NJ (Onsite)
Reports To: Director of Customer Service

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer the order-flow process, including customer inquiries, pricing, specifications, delivery verification, and order entry.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships via telephone, data systems, and correspondence while addressing inquiries and processing orders.
• Review all incoming orders to ensure product specifications and prices align with price sheets or approved quotations.
• Enter and manage orders in the Oracle order entry system.
• Notify customers of changes in pricing due to order quantity variations.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and Coining, providing support for product inquiries and order-related issues.
• Assist the National Accounts Sales Manager by tracking and reporting national account sales data.
• Expedite internal order deliveries to meet customer deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams as needed.
• Report significant pricing or delivery trends that may impact sales performance.
• Offer customers limited guidance in selecting or applying products and escalate complex requests for specification changes.
• Address billing-related complaints and refer service failures to the appropriate department for investigation.
