Description: Our client is currently seeking a BI Analyst to work remotely with up to 5% travel!


Do you have a passion for data and problem-solving? As an Advanced Data Analyst, you will leverage your analytical expertise to support Clients with SQL queries, data integration, definitions, methodologies, data discovery, and validation. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.


In this role, you will use your skills to interpret and analyze complex data sets, assist in the development of data models, and ensure data quality. Your work will be instrumental in helping clients automate business processes and derive meaningful insights from their data.


The work may be different than traditional BI Analyst roles that you are familiar with. It's downright exciting stuff and we can't wait to share more. This role requires strategic thinking. The BI Analyst will always be thinking two steps ahead and formulating creative ways to better the process. This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
  
  
  • Collaborate with the BI team to design and implement data models and dashboards
  
  
  • Ensure data integration processes are efficient, reliable, and scalable
  
  
  • Perform data cleansing, normalization, and standardization to maintain high data quality
  
  
  • Document data definitions, methodologies, and best practices
  
  
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users to help them understand data reports and platform functionality
  
  
  • Interface with key business and project team members to facilitate seamless execution of requirements
  
  
  • Analyze and resolve cross-functional data issues
  
  
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance data management practices
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SQL and writing queries.


• Experience with data integration and data pipeline tools, such as AWS Lambda and Glue.


• Experience working with Contact Center, CSAT data, specifically survey data (Feedback Manager), ACD, and IVR data. - NICE strongly preferred


• Strong understanding of contact center data definitions, methodologies, and dimensional data modeling principles.


• Proven ability to perform data discovery and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.


• Data normalization, cleaning, and preparation for analysis.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar a plus


• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts at all user levels


• Strong communication skills with a background in working directly with stakeholders to identify business objectives and establish requirements


• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting


• Experience with data validation tools is a plus


• Experience working in a team environment and coordinating with external clients to meet project deadlines
