This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing equipment critical to our fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, along with experience in a heavy industrial environment. Knowledge of PLC systems is a definite plus.



Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  
  


• Diagnose and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
  
  


• Support the maintenance of fabrication machinery used for welding and machining large pressure vessels.
  
  


• Troubleshoot and, when necessary, work with PLC systems to address equipment malfunctions.
  
  


• Assist with the setup and calibration of industrial equipment.
  
  


• Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to prioritize work and meet production needs.
  
  


• Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times.
  
  


• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
  
  

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience in maintenance within a heavy industrial or fabrication environment.
  
  


• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  
  


• Experience with PLC systems preferred (e.g., troubleshooting and basic programming).
  
  


• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
  


• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
  
  


• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  
  


• Familiarity with equipment used in welding and machining operations is a plus.
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications are highly desirable.
  
  


• Ability to work in a heavy industrial setting, including physical tasks like lifting, standing, and climbing.
  
  


• Flexibility to work overtime or on-call, as needed, to support production schedules.
