The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing inventory operations while ensuring strict compliance with FDA, ISO13485, GMP, and SOX regulation. This role overseas a team of inventory specialists and receiving coordinators ensuring data integrity within SAP supporting internal and external audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor will establish robust internal controls. Enforce compliance standards and mitigate financial and operational risk in inventory management.

Additionally, the inventory control supervisor will play a key supporting role in SAP extended warehouse management (EWM) integration efforts ensuring smooth data migration process alignment and user adoption to enhance warehouse efficiency and compliance.What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the workflow of inbound materials and inventory management providing support and training as necessary.


• Ensure full SOX compliance in all inventory transactions, reconciling discrepancies, enforcing internal controls, and implementing corrective actions where needed.


• Support SAP EWM integration efforts, assisting with data validation, process mapping, and system adoption to enhance operations efficiency and compliance.


• Attract, develop and retain talent. Ensure focus and alignment with functional and company goals. Provide employees with continuous feedback and coaching using talent-and-performance management tools.


• Collaborates with Audit & Risk Management function to identify business risks and develop and implement preventive strategies for functional area.


• Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.


• Other duties as assigned

• BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, OR candidate without degree should have a minimum of 10 years related experience in inventory control, preferably within medical device industry.


• Minimum 6 years supervisory experience


• Working knowledge of SAP required


• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with aggressive deadlines


• Work closely with other team members and function efficiently under pressure and time restraints


• Detailed knowledge of field inventory, customer service, and follow-up functions


• Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams


• PC experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint are essential
