Role Overview:



We are seeking a highly motivated Contracts Intern to support our legal team for the summer.



Key Responsibilities:



• Support the contract administration team in maintaining accurate records and documentation by maintaining and enhancing the online contract repository.

• Provide administrative support to the contract administration team as needed.


• Conduct research and gather information to support contract negotiations and compliance.


• Assist in the preparation and review of contracts and agreements.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, Journalism, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.


• Passion for technology and how it can improve our fellow citizens' wellbeing, create safer communities, and foster a thriving economy.


• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with generative AI and data visualization tools is a plus.


• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

The current hourly rate is $19.00. This position is classified as non-exempt, eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.


As part of our commitment to maintaining a compliant workplace, all final candidates will undergo and must pass a comprehensive background screening prior to starting work. This screening may include, but is not limited to, verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and other relevant checks. For certain positions, additional client-specific background screenings may be required in the future, in accordance with client requirements.


Voyatek does significant work with Federal and State tax and revenue authorities. If applicable to this role, all hires will be required to obtain a Federal Public Trust Clearance (Moderate Background Investigation). This clearance process may start upon offer acceptance; and must be cleared prior to working on these projects.
