Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead for our client located in Tallahassee, FL.
This position is onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1.
Job Overview:
Scrum Master and Servant Leader for QA Team.
Collaborate with other teams daily.
Monitor, track, and report on defects.
Perform testing activities including writing test plans, test cases, manual and automate test scripts.
Analyze current quality assurance practices at client office, and recommend future state practices and tools.
Establish quality assurance metrics.
Manage the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles and quality processes into the design and development of software IT processes.
Perform mentoring and knowledge transfer to other Quality assurance staff.
Ensure that quality measures and procedures are executed.
Ensure that products, applications, and systems are following client's established quality standards and meet customer requirements.
Champion the application of quality principles in business and IT processes through training, meeting and team facilitation, communication programs and team building activities.
Research, develop, and implement manual and automated testing methods and procedures to ensure that products meet the highest quality standards while integrating with the new Florida PALM solution.
Required Qualifications:
7 - 8 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or another related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing and conducting test processes for multiple types of systems, client users and/or units across an organization is required.
Minimum of 5 years of prior management experience, supervisory, or team leader experience is required.
2 - 3 years of leadership experience with Enterprise Architecture is required.
Strong analytical skills to determine an organization's needs, develop strategies to meet those needs, and evaluate effectiveness.
Ability to categorize work, set priorities, and determine short and/or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them.
Proven ability to build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment.
Able to easily convey knowledge to others.
Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, and multicultural business environment.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and proactive issue and risk management.
Must be able to resolve production release issues across business and technology teams, as well as broader strategic or systemic issues that are creating inefficiencies or hindering progress.
Proficiency in process formulation and communication to others.
Influential person with the ability to lead and motivate others.
Strong grasp of IT infrastructure and application development technology and architectures.
Knowledge of assessment and analytical process and practices.
Skill in strategic planning.
Skill in researching, compiling, and analyzing data to report findings and develop improvement solutions.
Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, and manage complex work assignments and project schedules.
Ability to research, identify, and implement innovative solutions.
Ability to facilitate and coordinate meetings, workshops, conferences, etc.
Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a DevOps environment is highly desired.
2 - 3 years of prior experience with transportation technology is highly desired.
Knowledge of Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration tools and Snowflake is highly desired.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field.
Or 2 years of experience can substitute for education
