Position Overview



Ledgent Finance & Accounting is actively seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Analyst-Accountant to join their client's team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in tracking and managing financial data, producing insightful financial reports, and supporting strategic financial planning efforts. The position is primarily remote, but candidates should be able to come to the Irvine office once a month for month-end, at least for the first few months.

Responsibilities

• Track the company's day-to-day accounting-related tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate monthly billing and accounts receivable follow-up.


• Produce journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, credit cards, banks, and AP & AR accrual.


• Prepare financial statements, dashboards, and reports to present insights to senior management.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.


• Analyze current and past financial data and performance, preparing reports and projections based on this analysis.


• Conduct cost and revenue analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.


• Support cash flow forecasting and management efforts, ensuring liquidity and financial stability.


• Partner with the sales team to increase pipeline visibility, price setting, and commission process.


• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn quickly.


• Fluent in English and Spanish - required


• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.


• Advanced knowledge of Excel.


• Proficient in digital tools and technologies.


• ERP experience is required.


• Knowledge of digital advertising or content production is a plus.

Required Work Hours



Full-time position with flexible in office and remote work hours. Candidates should be available to visit the Irvine office once a month for month-end processes, especially during the initial months of employment.

Benefits
