Job Description:

We are a progressive manufacturer of PET beverage bottles, supplying the Coca-Cola bottling system on the East Coast and in the Midwest. We have a proven track record of stability and sustained growth over the past 30 years, and are looking for candidates for the following position:



Project Engineer




Control Engineer Preferred




REPORTS TO: General Manager, Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, or Product Development Manager



BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for providing detailed engineering support for projects and equipment at all plant locations.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



1. Provide engineering and technical support for all plant locations, including development of new ideas, re-engineering, design improvements, drawings, reliability engineering, technical troubleshooting, and project management.


2. Coordinate and direct projects under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, or Product Development Manager with a focus on continuous improvement and meeting budget constraints.


3. Interface with the Human Resource Manager and/or Safety and Training Coordinator as needed to ensure engineering, technical support, and related projects conform to all federal and state safety regulations.


4. Oversee outside vendors or contractors to insure successful completion of assignments.


5. Interface with and provide assistance to hourly employees on specific projects or assignments.


6. Perform other duties as requested by the General Manager, Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, or Product Development Manager as requested. Comply with all activities related to product safety, legality, regulatory compliance, and quality.
