Wells Fargo is seeking a Model Enablement Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Your contributions will be crucial in resolving complex situations that require a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. You will strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to meet deliverables.



Key Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted issues, ensuring compliance with function, policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
• Partner with the Model Development and Governance team to ensure appropriate model lifecycle compliance and model approval prior to use.
• Actively contribute to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and overall technical design.
• Utilize technologies such as Python, Spark, Django, Jenkins, API, CI/CD, DevOps tools, Postgres SQL Database, and other integration tools.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Hands-on experience with Python, database development, Power BI report development, data ETL, and querying in a big data environment.
• Strong ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

• 4-6 years of experience with ETL.
• 4-6 years of experience with advanced SQL query writing.
• 4-6 years of experience with database development.
• 4-6 years of experience as a Power BI Developer.
• 4-6 years of experience with Python.
