WeldFit, is looking for a responsible and self-motivated candidate for the position of Maintenance Technician. They will be responsible for performing and overseeing upkeep of all facility common areas and grounds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work and think safety at all times, reporting of all unsafe working conditions to his/her supervisor.
Apply in-depth knowledge of all building operating systems such as HVAC, security and sprinkler systems, fire alarms, plumbing, heating, electrical and any other related building setup.
Respond to emergency situations with sound judgment and in a prompt manner.
Perform physical duties to upkeep facilities such as lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, inspecting all areas of facility and other necessary physical duties.
Reports:
Prepare budgets and estimates regarding facility upkeep, maintenance, renovation and restoration by applying figure aptitude and knowledge of building systems.
Maintaining and submission of all reports, records, and inventories as required.
Plan, delegate and perform upkeep of various facilities to include:
grounds maintenance
building repair/renovation
preventive maintenance
On heavy industrial machinery like overhead cranes, welding equipment and CNC machines
Care taker for all materials, tools, and equipment in his/her care.
Function as liaison between tenants and management in resolving problems and implementing solutions.
Janitorial:
Janitorial chores to include, but not limited to:
Sweeping
Emptying trash containers into dumpsters
Removal of bulk trash to designated area
Sweeping of waste absorbent granules and placing into designated waste absorbent granules containers.
Maintaining waste absorbent pads around the machines and placing into designated waste absorbent pad containers.
Moving heavy furniture as needed

Function as liaison between tenants and management in resolving problems and implementing solutions.
Miscellaneous:
Must be able to work overtime and weekends with minimum notice
Remain familiar with applicable city and state building codes to ensure compliance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience Level:
Over 3 years of advanced experience/equivalent competence level on all machine operations of department
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma
Minimum 3 years experience in similar job
Prior experience in maintenance and warehouse setting.
Physical Requirements:
Capability of lifting up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
Ability to stand, walk, bend and climb for long periods
High Level of manual dexterity
Ability to be in extreme temperatures (shop environment)
