Overview
Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is seeking a Business Development Analyst to play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and supporting new business opportunities in the government contracting space. This role is integral to conducting market research, analyzing competitive landscapes, and supporting capture and proposal efforts to drive strategic growth. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of federal procurement, and the ability to translate data into actionable business intelligence.
Responsibilities
Duties to include but are not limited to:
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
Conduct thorough research on federal procurement trends, government spending, and industry competitors to inform business development strategies.
Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) to assess potential opportunities and competitive positioning.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential contracts, tracking market movements and emerging customer requirements.
Business Development & Opportunity Identification
Support the development of strategic growth initiatives by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within target agencies.
Assist in assessing partnership and teaming opportunities with other contractors and subcontractors.
Monitor and analyze agency forecasts, procurement notices, and industry reports to inform capture strategies.
Proposal & Capture Support
Collaborate with capture managers, proposal teams, and technical experts to support proposal development efforts.
Help craft win themes, value propositions, and proposal content to strengthen competitive bids.
Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations and submission requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
Support engagement efforts with government clients, industry partners, and internal teams to enhance business development efforts.
Assist in preparing briefing materials, presentations, and reports for senior leadership and capture teams.
Track and document client interactions, industry events, and key meetings to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
3-7 years of experience in business development, market research, or federal contracting analysis.
Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government procurement processes.
Ability to analyze complex data sets and synthesize insights into strategic recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in developing reports, presentations, and proposal contributions.
Proficiency in business intelligence tools, CRM platforms, and market research databases.
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, public administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Must be a US citizen able to pass a standard background check.
