Our Oncology Pharmacy team is committed to advancing cancer care by providing specialized, high-quality pharmaceutical services. As a critical member of this team, you'll collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management and patient support. Your contributions will directly enhance the effectiveness of our cancer treatment protocols and support Walmart's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.



What you'll do...




  • Ensure prescription accuracy: Verify clinical and legal details, medication quantities, and patient instructions.



  • Oversee medication therapy: Manage patient treatment profiles, ensuring appropriate drug therapy.



  • Maintain certifications: Keep multiple state pharmacist licenses and certifications up-to-date.



  • Resolve prescription issues: Address legal, clinical, and financial concerns with prescriptions.



  • Guide pharmacy technicians: Direct daily activities, manage pharmaceutical equipment and inventory.



  • Monitor inventory: Report low stock, process recalls, and manage inventory systems efficiently.




What You'll Bring:



  • PharmD Degree: Active pharmacist license with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.



  • Oncology Certification: Board certification in oncology pharmacy (BCOP) required.



  • Oncology Expertise: Experience in oncology pharmacy and chemotherapy management.



  • Clinical Skills: Strong clinical knowledge and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting.



  • Passion for Oncology Care: Dedication to improving cancer treatment through expert pharmacy practice.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$172,000.00*

*This pay range is for a 40 hours/week schedule. Weekly scheduled hours are determined individually and the ranges for different scheduled hours are prorated based on the percentage of 40 hours. E.g., the range for a 36 hours/week schedule, which is 90% of 40 hours, is 90% of the above range.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
