Job Description: Prominent firm seeks an experienced Senior Trust and Estate Paralegal to join their team. The ideal Senior Trust and Estate Paralegal possesses 7+ years of experience with Trust Administration, Estate Planning, Probate, Tax Planning, Charitable Planning, and Entity Formation, has demonstrated experience supporting a minimum of 2 Partners, and can successfully maintain over 1500 billable hours annually.


Senior Trust and Estate Paralegal Job Duties:


- Meet with prospective clients and gather necessary information to prepare estate planning and trust administration documents


- Assist with client onboarding including welcome documentation, retainer agreements, authorization forms, and more


- Draft and review estate plans with clients and provide recommendations


- Complete assessor forms, proposition forms, tax and/or charitable planning forms, exemptions, and other documents


- Communicate with appraisers, tax preparers, recorders, brokers and escrow officers, and assessors


- Obtain title reports, vesting deeds


- Prepare for Inventory and Appraisements, Allocation of Assets, for probate matters


- Draft and file supplements, notices, court documents, waivers, consent forms, etc.


- Obtain court orders and recording county orders


Senior Trust and Estate Paralegal Job Requirements:


- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Trust, Estate, and Probate


- Must be comfortable billing 1500+ billable hours annually


- CA Notary Public membership strongly preferred


- ABA-approved paralegal certificate strongly preferred with annual CLE requirements maintained
