Job Summary
Summary
Responsible to assist the Registered Dietitian in the provision of nutrition services to broad patient population. This includes appropriate meals, between meal nourishments, and special formulas required by each individual patient.


Essential Functions
Patients are interviewed to identify food preferences and allergies per established guidelines.


Assigned patients are visited daily to provide assistance of meal selection, ensuring selections comply with prescribed diet.


Patient selective menus are distributed and retrieved to meet established timeframes.


Clerical duties including heading menus, preparing production sheets, and updating patient menus are completed to meet established standards.


Additional department, organization, or network activities are completed per established objectives.

Qualifications



Education



High School Diploma or Equivalent required or


Associate's Degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent preferred
