Title: Licensed Practical Nurse




Type: Contract to hire




Compensation: Dependent on experience




Location: Milford, MA




Shift: M-F 8:30a-5p




This job will have the following responsibilities:

• This position is with urology in the geriatric population


• Reviews the schedule for the day to prepare themselves and the providers for patients coming in.


• Responsible for cleaning exam rooms and anticipating needed supplies and/or equipment prior to escorting patient to the room.


• Responsible for escorting and communicating with the patient, confirming the reason for the visit with the patient as well as the provider.


• Uses good judgment and applies knowledge to take appropriate vital signs according to reason for visit.


• Remains readily available to assist the provider and anticipates his/her requests for assistance.


• Responsible for coordinating testing or consultations ordered by providers as well as ensuring patient has appropriate paperwork, directions, and necessary instructions for same.


• Responsible for maintaining and cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, rotating and dispensing medications and monitoring temperature controls.


• Follows all internal and external protocols and regulations.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School/ GED


• LPN License


• 6 months experience
  
  


• Covid Vax with booster or willingness to receive booster
