Location: Watertown, WI

Salary: $28.00 USD Hourly - $40.00 USD Hourly

Description:
Local manufacturer is seeking Industrial Electricians that are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, a high level of safety awareness, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including:
  • Motors, starters, and controls
  • Transformers
  • Wiring and conduit
  • Lighting systems
  • PLC systems (Programmable Logic Controllers)
  • Instrumentation and control systems
  • Power distribution systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment malfunctions quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment (multimeter, megger, etc.).
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on electrical equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations (NFPA 70E).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist other maintenance personnel as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (preferred).
• Experience with AC/DC drives, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
