The Human Resources Representative is responsible for assignedduties in the Human Resources and Recruiting functions.
Thisrole will be expected to perform duties in the HR function and the Recruitingfunction on an approximate 50%/50% basis.
JobDuties and Responsibilities
• Assist the Human ResourcesManager with local representation in corrective action, performance evaluation,new hire and employment separation processes;
• Coordinate and facilitateon-site random drug screen program(s) locally as well as remote random drugscreen processes for other assigned units;
• Work closely with the HumanResources Manager to build consistent position descriptions and requirements;
• Assist with facilitation ofleaves under FMLA and STD policies;
• Assist with inquiries regardingbenefit plans;
• Mayassist with policy and procedure development and implementation;
• Coordinate career fairregistrations /administration and represent the company at colleges &universities to support our On-Campus Recruitment programs;
• Develop strong understanding ofemployment arrangements that are available through the company;
• Ensureappropriate internal communications throughout the selection, offer and hireprocesses (hiring managers, IT, Human Resources, Accounting);
• Assistlocal office managers with reports as assigned.
Qualifications
Basicor Minimum Qualifications
• High School diploma or the equivalentrequired;
• Requires a minimum of five (5) years' related workhistory that demonstrates ability to engage with recruiting as well as humanresources initiatives simultaneously;
• Ability to handle confidential dataappropriately;
• Ability to adapt between manual and electronicprocesses;
• Ability to adjust to rapid changes inpriorities;
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Wordand Excel in required and Teams preferred);
• Strong written and verbal communication skillsrequired.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred;
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, Utilities,Marine & Terminal or engineering consulting industries preferred;
• experience with third-party drug screenprograms such as client auditors and consortiums with the ability to integratewith Company programs;
• Work history that includes job descriptiondevelopment and development of interview practices for managers;
• Strong working knowledge of the FLSA;
• Experience with Sharepoint used as companycommunications site and experience creating branding visuals a plus.
WorkingConditions:
• Forty-hour workweek, M-Thurs 7:30-5:30 inoffice; flexible schedule with core hours may be discussed, Friday 7:30-11:30work from home;
• Work is primarily conducted in an officeenvironment (Private or Semi-Private office) but may require occasional travelto other company locations;
• Interaction with other team members, as wellas supervisors and client personnel;
• May be required to travel out of town on aperiodic basis.
