Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Services Manager to lead our IT configuration management initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our configuration management database (CMDB) through expert use of ServiceNow. Your strong technical background and ability to manage stakeholder relationships will be key to driving strategic improvements and seamless IT operations.


What You'll Do:

• Develop & Implement Policies: Create and execute configuration management strategies, policies, and procedures to align with organizational standards.
• CMDB Administration: Oversee and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring that configuration items (CIs) including hardware, software, and documentation are accurately represented.
• Data Integrity & Analysis: Conduct regular audits of configuration data, reconcile information across IT and financial systems, and execute corrective actions to maintain data accuracy.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with IT teams, accounting, vendors, and leadership to support cross-functional initiatives and drive improvements.
• Leadership & Meetings: Lead configuration management meetings and the Configuration Control Board (CCB) to review and approve significant changes.
• Reporting & Metrics: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of configuration management processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in configuration management, IT asset management, or a related field.
• Proven expertise with ServiceNow, including a deep understanding of its table structure and configuration management capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL v3 or v4 certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with configuration management audits and continuous process improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
