Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their division in Woodland, California. Ledgent is recruiting for this role on behalf of our manufacturing client.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management within the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and implementing efficient accounting processes. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic financial decisions and maintain compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Lead the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage cost accounting and inventory.
Manage the implementation and optimization of NetSuite to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with manufacturing industry standards, tax regulations, and accounting principles.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP software.
In-depth understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and financial processes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Public accounting backgrouns is preferred
CPA or MBA is preferred
Salary and Benefits:
Salary up to $185k, depending on experience.
12% annual bonus.
