Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Lead Architect within our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing modern AWS-based solutions to address evolving business challenges.
Enhancing and optimizing existing systems by integrating the latest AWS technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study
12 + years of demonstrated experience as the primary person responsible for managing complex technology implementations, and continuous improvement of a minimum of two (2) Digital solutions.
12 + years of demonstrated experience as the lead architect of digital service projects leveraging Microsoft technology and development platform to implement and maintain high volume OLTP system.
8 + years of experience architecting and managing large data systems, components, tools, and technologies.
5 + years of experience utilizing AWS managed services.
8 + years of experience working in enterprise AWS cloud infrastructure and implementing AWS cloud applications.
5 + years of experience in the full DevOps lifecycle from the architecture, infrastructure, automation, and operations perspective.
3 + years of experience with web services development (REST/Web API in AWS API Gateway or Message-based like Kafka/Confluent), integration, deployment and management.
3 + years of experience building/debugging DevOps workflows on a continuous integration and continuous delivery platform (CI/CD)
Experience working with DHCS programs and organizations.
Valid AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) is preferred.
1+ year or more of experience working on health information data system projects is preferred
Valid Certified SCRUM Master or Valid Agile Certified Practitioner is preferred
Development experience working with Git repositories.
Experience developing and implementing software using agile methodology, specifically scrum.
Experience working with NoSQL or open-sourceRDBMStechnologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) is preferred
Experience handling large data sets and scaling storage
Knowledge of Amazon Quantum Ledger Database and Amazon Data Lake
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $137,000 to $234,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. This position is classified as exempt in accordance with applicable law.
