Job Responsibilities:



We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team for either Afternoons or Midnights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, capable of handling a wide variety of tasks, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. The role requires a hands-on, safety-conscious individual with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex electrical and mechanical problems.



Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in manufacturing environment.


• Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.


• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, motor control circuits, PLC systems, and electrical panels.


• Assemble and install manufacturing equipment, mechanical systems, and related equipment.


• Perform electrical and mechanical inspections, testing, and diagnostics on systems and equipment.


• Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.


• Collaborate with other trades and technicians to complete large-scale projects.


• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.


• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.


• Provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency and performance.


• Assist in the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.


• Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-call support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician (or equivalent).


• Minimum [5] years of experience working as an Electrician or in a similar role.


• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, motor control, PLCs, and mechanical systems.


• Proficient in the use of electrical and mechanical tools and equipment.


• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).


• Ability to work in various physical environments, including confined spaces and heights.


• Prolonged standing, bending, and stooping may be required
