Job Description:

*Seeking an experienced Driver Manager*

Job Summary:
Dispatch loads and equipment movement to drivers. Ensure drivers have accurate, timely information so loads can be delivered in a safe, timely manner. Accurately update computerized programs with pertinent and timely information. Communicate any loads to drivers. Resolve driver delivery issues or escalate these as needed.

Job Duties:

Obtain load assignments for drivers. Coordinate the pickup and delivery of loads using assigned drivers.
Encourage and dispatch drivers to ensure each driver meets expectations while promoting consistency in load assignments. Monitor and track driver the location and status of each assigned driver. Keep close tabs on appointment delivery drivers.
Confirm load coverage and completion and update dispatch related databases and spreadsheets in an accurate and timely manner to prevent delays in container deliveries and payment from customers.
Resolve driver issues in a timely manner. Escalate issues, as needed. Track and log driver complaints, concerns, service failures, counseling, and feedback in driver profile database.
Work with, train, and fill in for other staff members to promote an atmosphere of teamwork, customer service and efficiency in the movement of containers, chassis, trucks, and freight. Fill in for the Terminal Manager, as needed.
Attend and participate in all staff and safety meetings.

Schedule: Monday Through Friday with some weekends per business needs
Pay: $68, 640 (Annualized + Up to $1100 Monthly Bonus Potential)

Requirements:

Must have intermediate computer skills to navigate and update Truckmate database and Microsoft Office.
Must possess clear and concise verbal communication skills and be knowledgeable of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) regarding hours of service.
Being able to speak Spanish and English is preferred.
