Position Overview
CRH Americas Materials is seeking a polished Executive Assistant to the Chief Information Officer with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and computer skills. This role should typically be able to be handled during business hours. However, it does require a great deal of dedication and may require work before 8am or after 5pm, primarily to handle time sensitive communications and requests. This is an on-site role, reporting in to our Atlanta Corporate office at least 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Calendar Management :
Oversee dynamic and complex calendars for CIO and the IT Leadership Team
Balance competing priorities to ensure alignment with business goals and key initiatives
Anticipate scheduling needs, proactively resolve conflicts, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders, teams, and time zones to maximize efficiency
Travel Coordination:
Organize and manage all travel logistics for both domestic and international travel arrangements (flights, accommodations, itineraries, activities, etc.)
Maintain availability and act with urgency to address changes, issues, and escalations that arise during travel
Event Planning:
Plan and execute complex off-sites, team events, and company-wide initiatives
On and off-site meeting planning - including all logistics (catering, agenda, facilities, communications)
On and off-site site meeting support - able to travel up to 10% of time
Other Administrative Tasks:
Provide proactive, varied and confidential administrative support to CIO
Extensive support of CIO's direct report management team
Prepare and edit presentations, including developing content as well as collecting, collate/merge and review materials submitted by others
Prepares monthly expense reports
Miscellaneous ad-hoc reporting and projects
Interacts with high level executive and administrative assistants across the organization
Go-to person for IT department for facilities and office management related issues
Organizes and maintains online documents, files, and records
Handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality
Supports other key executives as needed
Qualifications
10+ years' experience working for a C-level executive organizing multiple priorities, calendars and projects
Strong multi-tasking skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects and work well under time/other constraints
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks and projects
Ability to handle confidential information, demonstrate a high degree of autonomy and good judgement
Works well under stress, can handle challenging situations and is flexible and able to switch gears comfortably
Effective communication skills, written and verbal, one-on-one, as well as with small and medium size groups
Demonstrated experience in dealing effectively with all levels within an organization
Customer focused - internal and external
Has worked in a large-scale enterprise environment, preferably publicly held
Embodies high ethical standards and core values
Maintains and projects a positive attitude
Proficient in MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, Internet (Visio a plus)
Work Requirements
