Role Summary
This role is a Senior Manager within the Corporate & Shared Services FP&A team. This position is a multi-faceted role that will include partnership with leaders across the Shared Services business units (Human Resources, Legal, Compliance & Audit, and the CFO Group) as well as ownership of key corporate benefit forecasts.
Skills and expertise in areas such as financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis will be critical to drive success in the role. This role reports to the Director of Corporate & Shared Services FP&A and will be supported by a team of analysts.
Responsibilities
Business Partnership and Decision Support
Partner with Shared Services colleagues to leverage financial analysis to drive strategic planning and on-going decision making.
Develop a deep understanding of the business you support, including the strategy, key financial drivers, business processes, and interdependencies.
Lead direct reports to support budgeting, financial planning, reforecasting, and tracking of actual expenses relative to budget.
Lead direct reports to support decision making within the BU, including cost/benefit, building quantitative / financial models, etc.
Help the business define and track KPIs related to the day-to-day operations of the business or specific initiatives.
Help identify cost saving opportunities and closely monitor impact of cost efforts.
Facilitate engagement of the business with broader finance team.
Corporate Benefits Forecasting
Partner with key contacts within Human Resources and FP&A to develop comprehensive understanding of critical firm-level inputs for benefits, staying abreast of emerging issues.
Develop, monitor and refine benefits forecasts in-line with reforecasting cycles, leveraging data and visualization tool
Lead and coach direct reports to support forecasting efforts with quantitative / financial models, etc.
General leadership within FP&A
Support a variety cross-cutting strategic projects across FP&A.
Provide leadership to the team, including training, coaching, and providing regular feedback to the team.
Help identify and implement ideas for improving FP&A processes (e.g., budgeting and forecasting), and proactively shares best practices with other colleagues.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration AND 6+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred:
Minimum of 6+ years general management, financial analyst experience
Strong functional skills in financial analysis, financial planning, and management reporting.
Demonstrated strong people management skills; Helps develop future leaders for the firm.
Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently.
Strong interpersonal skills: position requires interaction with all levels of internal staff.
Advanced degree, CPA, CFA and/or MBA is preferred.
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.
Base Salary Ranges

$108,000.00 - $184,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$119,000.00 - $203,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$135,000.00 - $230,000.00 for the location of: New York, California
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
