Position Summary:

SPS Commerce is adding a Corporate Events Specialist to join our Revenue Office team! This is the perfect opportunity for someone to utilize their corporate event experience and join a team responsible for planning, managing and executing a variety of sales events and activities. These events support our sales objectives, and would be a great fit if you are a proactive individual with exceptional organization skills, a creative mindset, and have a passion for delivering high-quality event that drive business results!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales leaders and business partners to develop event strategies aligned with sales goals and objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of sales events, including annual sales meetings, product launches, quarterly business reviews and sales appreciation gatherings.
  • Manage aspects of event planning and logistics, that could include venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, registration, and onsite coordination.
  • Monitor and evaluate event performance metrics to assess effectiveness and ROI, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event planning to enhance event strategies and processes.
  • Learn and understand the SPS Sales Model
  • Build stable working relationships across the organization.
  • Focus on delivering results through innovation and action.
  • Commitment to a collaborative environment with professionalism, integrity, passion, and accountability
  • Strong sense of urgency and personal accountability, not afraid to get hands-on

Location: This role is a hybrid position, based out of our Minneapolis office, our team #SucceedsTogether through collaboration by coming into the office 2-3 times a week.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related professional experience
  • Proven experience in event planning, preferably in a sales or business environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative event concepts and experiences.
  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to successfully communicate across diverse teams.
  • Excellent organization skills, strong attention to details, and consistent follow-up
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to organize tasks and time to ensure completion of all duties
  • Demonstrated experience managing small projects directly as well as through others

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a high growth environment

What We Offer:

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.

The annual salary range for this role is: $77,300- $115,900. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
