Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.

Summary:

The Application Development Manager plans, coordinates and supervises all activities related to the detailed design, development, and implementation of software or applications. They guide the development team on issues related to the detailed design, development, and deployment of software or applications. They establish development and deployment plans, milestones and deliverables in consultation with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of programmers to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level applications using C#, .NET Core, and JavaScript.
  • Design and implement scalable software solutions using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Pub-Sub architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Finance, and business units to prioritize and manage development tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and optimize application performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, conducting performance reviews and promoting growth.
  • Manage the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance.
  • Monitor emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and their administration.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain and develop teams, manage resources effectively, and ensure that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed.
  • Typical managerial duties such as time maintenance, making assignments, and conducting employee evaluations while supervising the development staff.

Education/Experience/Skills Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 12 + years of experience in application development, with expertise in C#, .NET Core, frontend languages , and API services.
  • 4 + years of experience in a leadership or managerial role
  • Strong understanding of SOA and Pub-Sub architecture
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in the Clinical Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical industry, preferred
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, preferred
