LabConnect improves lives by partnering with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, and clinical research organizations (CROs) to accelerate the development of new medicines around the world.

Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.

Summary:

The Mid-level Software Developer will develop and maintain applications using the Microsoft stack, including C# and Blazor. S/he will be responsible for solving complex technical issues and bugs, applying basic programming concepts, and using version control platforms. This individual will participate in sprints and work effectively in Agile or Scrum environments.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain applications using the Microsoft stack, including C# and Blazor.

  • Apply software design principles and patterns (e.g., object-oriented design).
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines and tools to streamline development processes.
  • Participate in sprints and work effectively in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Solve complex technical issues and bugs.
  • Implement basic programming concepts.
  • Use version control platforms to manage code.
  • Work with relational databases and SQL.
  • Perform basic debugging and testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve coding issues.
  • Contribute to group projects and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Adapt to changing project requirements and learn new technologies as needed.

Education/Experience/Skills Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field,

    • orAssociate's degree in a related field, with proven work experience demonstrating an understanding of topics beyond the expectations of a Junior Software Developer, or
    • Proven work experience in software development and design, with an additional 2 years of experience beyond the minimum required for a Mid-Level Software Developer
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience, including:

    • Experience with relational databases and SQL is essential, along with familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
    • Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns, such as object-oriented design, and will be adept at utilizing CI/CD pipelines and tools.
    • Debugging and testing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player who can contribute to group projects and adapt to changing project requirements, demonstrating a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Experience in the Clinical Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical industry, preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, preferred.
