Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is looking for a Director, Finance for our HQ located in San Jose, CA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):


  • Develop investor messaging for financial growth strategy and long-term model
  • Support for SEC disclosures and filings
  • Work with Investor relations team on global outreach plan to target and attract long-term investors, expand and maintain key holder ownership positions, and keep the financial community current on company progress, growth strategies, and industry developments
  • Work with senior Finance Team leaders on capital markets debt, equity and working capital transactions
  • Prepare all key materials and presentations to communicate financial performance, business conditions, and company strategy
  • Track competition and financial metrics for industry and competitors with industry research firms such as IDC, Gartner
  • Proactively monitor Wall Street consensus estimates and equity research to minimize gaps between the company performance and investor expectations.
  • Collaboration with Marketing and Comms to ensure consistent messaging on branding and strategy
  • Work with senior Finance team leaders on strategic initiatives and partnerships, helping Sales team with financial analysis of new deals, and cat as a liaison to Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA with Finance background is highly desirable
  • Experience in Financial modeling, communications with investors, and strategic financial analysis.
  • Proven finance & Investor relations executive with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong relationships with the investment community
  • Ability to work on and positively influence multi-disciplinary teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to be hands-on and juggle multiple projects
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Up to 25-50% travel may be required

Salary Range

$193,000.00 - $215,000.00

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
