PayPal seeks a dynamic individual for a pivotal role within the newly established PayPal Ads team. PayPal Ads is a dynamic new business and revenue stream that aligns with our mission to transform global commerce. Our vision is to become the world's premier commerce-driven advertising platform, connecting advertisers and merchants seamlessly with PayPal, Venmo, and Honey users.


This role will be responsible for shaping the offsite strategy as we extend the reach of our offering to supply outside of our owned and operated properties. You will work in partnership with the Sr. Director, Head of Offsite Commercialization to establish our roadmap and associated partnerships to grow this program from 0 to 1.


You will partner with key stakeholders and specialized teams within the PayPal Ads group including Sales, Technical Solutions, Ad Operations, and Measurement. You will also partner with teams across the PayPal organization, to ensure we deliver the best experience for our customers including Legal, Privacy, and Product.


The ideal candidate will have experience in programmatic advertising technology and retail media in both product as well as commercial functions.


Responsibilities




  • Responsible for owning, executing and maintaining a product roadmap for offsite ads, leading from discovery to delivery






  • Define product requirements and lead successful execution of initiatives






  • Partner with cross-functional teams at PayPal and external partners to design, build, launch new product capabilities






  • Evaluate and partner with external companies such as DSPs, SSPs, measurement and data providers to implement and complete the offsite and programmatic strategy






  • Engage closely with engineering and architecture to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing time-to-market needs.






  • Summarize product execution updates as well as KPI updates to stakeholders including Ads senior leadership to help with decision-making






  • Work closely with commercial teams to align product goals with commercial outcomes






  • Define and proactively monitor key performance metrics to support and make product decisions






  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure the products we deliver are within regulatory boundaries.






  • Collaborate with sales, account management, measurement, marketing teams to introduce a roadmap that best meets client goals






  • Work with the dedicated PayPal Ad Sales and Account Management organization to sell and activate offsite campaigns






  • Be a strategic thought partner to team members in different parts of the business




Qualifications




  • 8+ years of Product Management experience






  • 10+ years in ad tech companies including DSPs, SSPs, retail media networks






  • Expertise in supply curation, trading desk mechanics, universal ids, data privacy considerations






  • Self-starter and organized; strong communication skills






  • Simplify complex programs through a matrixed organization with a One Team mindset






  • Be a customer advocate.






  • Think strategically - be able to pivot based on company and/or market context






  • Be comfortable with ambiguity, and chart ways forward even with imperfect information.
